Pakistan were thrashed in the rain-shortened opener on Thursday and lost 13 runs in the second T20I in Sydney, losing multiple catches.
Pakistan skipper Rizwan claimed losing catches at vital points damaged the touring side, showing the challenge of capturing 16 wickets against a powerful team like Australia.
“To drop important catches at vital times will always cost you. In Australia, Australia is tough. Rizwan stated it won’t be easy for any team to get 16 wickets due to drops if you offer them chances like that.
The right-handed batsman, who scored 16 off 26 deliveries in the 148-run chase, said the pitch was hard to bat on.
