Pakistan and Afghanistan will play three one-day international (ODI) matches in Sri Lanka from August 22 to 26. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced this on Monday. According to the PCB, the first two games will be played in Hambantota on August 22 and 24, and the last will be in Colombo on August 26. Pakistan to play three ODIs against Afghanistan in Sri Lanka
The PCB said, “These three matches will give Babar Azam’s team a chance to work on their combinations before the 50-over ACC Men’s Asia Cup.” The 50-over ACC Men’s Asia Cup starts on August 30 when Pakistan plays Nepal at the beautiful Multan Cricket Stadium. The series team will meet in Sri Lanka on August 17 and train there from August 19 to 21. The Green Shirts have won all four ODIs between Pakistan and Afghanistan. These two teams last met in this format at the 2019 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
