Pakistan qualification scenarios in T20 World Cup Semi-Final
Pakistan has to win all their remaining matches, including Thursday’s vital match against confident South Africa. Still, the Men in Green can only advance to the semi-finals if India loses to Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Two matches between India and South Africa will determine whether or not Pakistan advances to the ICC T20 World Cup semi-finals. First, suppose Pakistan wins their next two matches. In that case, Bangladesh shocks India on Wednesday, and India defeats Zimbabwe on Sunday. All three Asian teams (Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka) might finish with six points in Group 2. One squad will make it to the final four based on their NRR.
