Shan was run out after scoring 52 off 70 deliveries, leaving Pakistan at 106/3 in 27.2 overs due to poor communication. Pakistan’s 230 first-innings runs tested West Indies’ batting. Sajid Khan removed Mikyle Louis for one run, making West Indies 10/1.
10/2 saw Keacy Carty pack for a Golden Duck. Sajid removed skipper Kraigg Brathwaite 11 and Kavem Hodge 4 to reduce West Indies to 22/4. The team was 51/7 after Noman Ali dismissed Justin Greaves and Tevin Imlach. He claimed Kevin Sinclair and Alick Athanaze to take West Indies to 91/9. Jomel Warrican and Jayden Seales’ 46-run partnership concluded West Indies’ batting at 137. Abrar Ahmed dismissed Seales.
Noman Ali struck five times, followed by Sajid Khan with four. Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel scored 71 and 84 runs before Pakistan was bowled for 230 in the first innings. Rizwan and Shakeel stabilised the innings with 141 runs at 143/4. After drinks, West Indies bowlers, led by Kevin Sinclair, intensified pressure. When Shakeel went for 84 and Salman Ali Agha, Noman Ali, and Rizwan left, Pakistan struggled at 200/7. Pakistan was bowled out for 230, with Sajid Khan falling for 18.
