Pakistan beats India in ICC ODI rankings
Pakistan moved up to fourth place in the latest ICC ODI team rankings. By passing India in the process after sweeping the West Indies in their most recent home series in Multan. Pakistan scored 106 thanks to their latest win. India, however, trails by only one point, placing fifth with 105 points. As of this writing, New Zealand has 125 points in the ICC ODI points table, with Australia in second place with 107 points. According to the latest ICC rankings (as of the beginning of May), Pakistan has moved up to the fifth place, dethroning England from that spot.

Pakistan was ranked #5 in the ICC rankings going into the series with a 102 rating. However, after a 3-0 whitewash of the Windies, their rating jumped to 106, putting them ahead of India.

Other than a loss on the road to England, they have beaten every team they have faced, including Zimbabwe and South Africa by a score of 2-1 in both series. When Australia came to Pakistan for the first time since 1998, they were beaten by the same score. In a 3-0 rout, Pakistan showed that West Indies had no chance.
