Pakistan will now prepare for their home T20I series against England after their dismal poor performance in the T20 Asia Cup 2022. Later on tonight, Babar Azam and company will fly back to Pakistan. After touching down in Lahore, the players will make their way to their respective cities. Meanwhile, after a 17-year hiatus, Karachi will begin preparations to host England. The National Stadium’s pregame preparations began on a Monday, but the following day’s rain delayed the start of the groundwork.
The grounds crew got a head start on the outfield and pitch, but they had to cover the square because of rain. In a couple of days, workers will begin cleaning the stands and applying new branding. On the morning of September 15th, the England team is expected to land in Karachi. The English squad will relax for a day and then resume training on September 16. Four Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) will take place in Karachi on September 20, 22, 23, and 25.
After that, on September 28, 30, and October 2, Lahore will play host to three Twenty20 Internationals.
