PAK VS NZ | Pakistan will miss three bowlers in tri-series match!

Today, in Christchurch at the Hagley Oval stadium, Pakistan will play New Zealand in the second tri-nation Twenty20 International series match. According to a statement released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, however, Usman Qadir, Mohammad Hasnain, and Naseem Shah will not participate in today’s match (PCB).

Usman Qadir suffered a thumb fracture while the board confirmed fielding during the England match. So, the PCB has announced that the 29-year-old bowler will be on a three-week break, which will end on October 16th. Hasnain and Naseem Shah, the other two bowlers, have come down with a viral ailment.

According to the PCB, the pacers will miss today’s game against New Zealand because of scheduling conflicts. The first game of the series was played at the Hagley Oval, where Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 21 runs owing to Rizwan’s incredible 50-ball 78 and the fiery bowling of the pacers. Rizwan, the best T20 batsman in the world, hit seven fours and two sixes in flawless 50-ball innings.

The 30-year-old is continuing his fine form from the Twenty20 series he played against England last month, where he scored 316 runs to lead his team. This was his 21st fifty in the format. The Pakistani team scored 167 runs and held the opposition to 146. Pakistan is competing in a week-long competition alongside hosts New Zealand and Bangladesh. The tournament serves as practice for the three nations before the T20 World Cup in Australia.
