PAK VS HKG | Pakistan must beat Hong Kong in Asia Cup 2022 Match Today
It’s now or never for Pakistan as they take the field in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates for the Asia Cup 2022 to face Hong Kong. The kickoff time for the Group A match is 7pm PST. It’s the sixth game of the Twenty20 tournament, a big cricketing event across Asia. This game is crucial for both sides, as the loser will be eliminated from the competition. The champion will go to the final round of the tournament, known as the Super Four. In their initial group games, both teams lost to India.
Group A also includes India and Hong Kong, in which Pakistan participates. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh represent the other three Asian teams in Group B. After the group stage concludes on September 3, the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage. Today’s Group A victor, between Pakistan and Hong Kong, will join India in the Super Four.
In Sharjah on Saturday, the first Super Four match will feature two teams from Group B: Sri Lanka taking on Afghanistan. This year’s Super Four championship game will be played on September 11 between the two best teams. The cricket tournament in Dubai and Sharjah will go on till the final on September 11.
