Pak vs Aus | Mohammad Abbas added as reserve player in Test squad

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday reported that Mohammad Abbas will be part of the Pakistan test squad as a reserve player for the upcoming match against Australia. This happened as Naseem Shah was added to the squad because Haris Rauf was ruled out of the first Test due to COVID-19. As per reports, he will get back to the Test squad after the completion of his quarantine period. The PCB reported that all the squad members and support staff were tested again for COVID-19 after Rauf’s was tested positive on Tuesday. Conclusively, none of the rest of the players were infected.

Also, Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf are no longer part of the squad for the Rawalpindi Test after sustaining injuries.
