No mistakes in Asia U18 Volleyball Championship for Pakistan
Pakistan U18 volleyball won their fourth straight Asia U18 Volleyball Championship 2024 match on Thursday, defeating Chinese Taipei 3-1 in the opening Super Eight encounter. Pakistan improved its prospects of reaching the competition semifinals with the win. Pakistan was drawn into a tough Super Eight group with Japan, Chinese Taipei, and Korea after winning all three group matches. Pakistan won an exciting encounter to start the super-eight round with set scores of 25-20, 24-26, 25-18, and 25-23.
Mehd Ali Shah, Abu Bakar, Muhammad Yahya, and Muhammad Anas excelled. Pakistan has a good chance of reaching the semifinals with this win. Tomorrow is their Super Eight encounter against Japan. Pakistan is in a solid position to finish in the super eight and qualify for the semifinals after beating Korea in the group stage. Coach Saeed Ahmad Saadi appreciated the team’s control and resilience, especially recovery after losing the second set.
