Seales led the match with nine wickets. He rose 13 ranks to become the Windies’ top Test bowler after his outstanding effort. Spinners Jomel Warrican and Gudakesh Motie both rose two spots to 52nd and 64th. Fast bowler Shamar Joseph rose 11 ranks to 54th, boosting Windies bowling presence.
Wiaan Mulder, Proteas’ Player of the Match, rose 27 positions to 65th following six dismissals against West Indies. After his performance against Windies, off-spinner Dane Piedt rose nine ranks to 66th.
Jason Holder, the former West Indies captain, came in 60th after scoring an unbeaten 54 in one innings. Holder was 17th in all-rounders.
