The Pakistani team suffered a huge setback before the Lahore test match when crucial pacer Naseem Shah hospitalized before Lahore T20I. He was forced to miss the first match in the city due to a high fever following a chest infection.
Naseem Shah hospitalized before Lahore T20I.
A representative for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that although Shah was brought to the hospital earlier due to his fever, he is doing much better today. Physicians reportedly subjected him to several tests, including a dengue test, to determine the issue.
According to a PCB official, Shah’s participation in the remaining matches is contingent upon the findings of his medical examinations. Four of the seven games will be played in Karachi, while the other three will be in Lahore. Gaddafi Stadium, a Lahore landmark, will host the first round of matches today.
