In the semi-final of the Emerging Asia Cup, which is going on right now, Pakistan A beat Sri Lanka A by 60 runs earlier today. The Men in Green will play the team that wins between India A and Bangladesh A in the second semi-final.
In 45.4 overs, the home team was bowled out for 262 runs while trying to reach a goal of 323 runs. Pakistan’s best bowler was the fast bowler Arshad Iqbal, who scored 5-37. Mubasir Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem took two wickets for the team that won. Sri Lanka’s Sahan Arachchige and Avishka Fernando each got 97 runs, but it wasn’t enough to win the game.
