Kane Williamson, captain of New Zealand, said on Tuesday that Pakistan and Bangladesh are two of the toughest teams in Twenty20 cricket. The tri-nation series between Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh will begin on October 7. (Friday).

Williamson is excited for the tri-series because the team will face two strong opponents in the shortest game format. The captain affirmed that the team would benefit from this series before the upcoming mega T20 World Cup event and noted that warm-up matches would be played after the series concluded.

Mitchell Santner, a New Zealand cricketer, has said that the team’s upcoming matches against the Men in Green and Bangladesh will help build momentum. “Our team has good players and is focused on all the fields,” he continued. The series begins on September 29 with Pakistan taking on Bangladesh, and it will conclude on October 14 with the championship match.
