India’s loss of Jadeja before Super 4s is a huge setback
Ravindra Jadeja, India’s premier all-rounder, will not be able to compete in the Twenty20 Asia Cup 2022, which is a big blow to India’s hopes of winning. Axar Patel will replace Jadeja in the India team for the Asia Cup, as the All-India Senior Selection Panel decided. Jadeja’s right knee ailment has forced him to withdraw from the competition.
Medical staff from the Indian cricket governing body, the BCCI, are currently monitoring his condition. Axar Patel, his sub, was originally designated as a reserve for the team. Soon, he’ll be in Dubai with the rest of the crew. After two straight victories against Pakistan and Hong Kong, India is already in the Super 4s.
