India Lost Toss for the Third Time in T20 World Cup | India Vs Afghanistan
In the match being played in Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi decided to field first after winning the toss. He said that Sharafuddin Ashraf has been included in the team in place of Asghar Afghan. India’s World Cup future remains out of their hands, with even three wins from three to finish their Super 12 campaign not necessarily enough to secure a top-two spot.
However, if New Zealand loses one of their remaining matches against Namibia and Afghanistan then the second qualification spot behind Pakistan should come down to net run rate. And if the bowlers can finish the job in Abu Dhabi then there is at least some hope for Kohli and company, with games against Scotland and Namibia to come.
