India announced their all-format tour of South Africa squads
After a long absence from Test cricket, Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Jasprit Bumrah will restore India’s strength. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will lead the Test after requesting a break from the white-ball leg of the tour. The return of Rahul and Iyer means red-ball veterans Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara, who played in the World Test Championship Final against Australia in June, are out.
Mohammed Shami returns to the Test team, but his fitness is uncertain due to medical treatment. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mukesh Kumar, who debuted in Tests during the West Indies tour, remain.
