Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad has been postponed to Tuesday, October 10. Also, Australia’s match against South Africa in Lucknow has been returned 24 hours to Thursday, October 12. New Zealand’s day-night match versus Bangladesh in Chennai on October 14 will now be played on Friday, October 13. England’s match versus Bangladesh in Dharamsala was originally scheduled as a day-night match, but it was moved to a 10:30 AM (local time) start.
Australia against Bangladesh in Pune (10:30 AM) and England vs. Pakistan in Kolkata (02:00 PM) are postponed to Saturday, November 11, to conclude the league round. India’s penultimate league game versus the Netherlands, a day-night match in Bengaluru, has been moved from November 11 to 12.
From October 5 to November 19, 10 teams will compete for the title at 10 venues, including the tournament opener and final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. All teams will play 45 league matches in the round-robin Cricket World Cup. On November 15 and 16, Mumbai and Kolkata will host the semifinals for the top four teams. Semifinals and finals will have reserve days.
