The International Cricket Council (ICC) has made Babar Azam as captain of ODI Team of the Year. The team includes Fakhar zaman from Pakistan as well. None of the Indian cricketers has managed to make their way to the ODI Team of the Year

Thus, he has been made captain of the ODI Team of the Year.
