Opening batter Babar Azam rose in the current ICC T20I rankings, while white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan and left-arm bowler Shaheen Afridi fell. Babar moved up to sixth in the latest ICC T20I batter rankings, surpassing Rizwan, who dropped two spots to eighth with 704 rating points.
Travis Head of Australia leads the T20I batters with 855 rating points, followed by Phil Salt of England and Tilak Varma of India. Shaheen Afridi drops from 20th to 21st in the bowling rankings with 599 points. Haris Rauf slides three spots to 26th with 573 points.
Young bowler Abbas Afridi jumps from 43rd to 41st with 526 rating points. Shadab Khan dropped six positions to 71st with 444 rating points. West Indies’ Akeal Hosein tops England’s Adil Rashid in T20I bowling. Rashid is second and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga third.
In the ICC ODI rankings, Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique fell. Saim dropped one rank to 80th with 470 points after scoring a century against South Africa in the first ODI. Abdullah Shafique, laboring with the bat, fell to 77th with 472 points.
Other players like Fakhar Zaman (16th), Imam-ul-Haq (18th), and Mohammad Rizwan (24th) have retained their placements.
Babar Azam leads the ODI batters, with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill in second and third places. Haris Rauf remains 15th in the ODI bowling rankings, followed by Mohammad Wasim Jr. 52nd, Naseem Shah 61st, and Mohammad Nawaz 67th.
Babar Azam rose one spot to 17th in the Test batting rankings with 670 points. Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Rizwan remained 19th and 20th. Imam-ul-Haq rose to 42nd and Abdullah Shafique fell to 48th. Shan Masood improved to 57th.
Noman Ali remained 10th in Test bowling, while Shaheen Afridi remained 19th. Hasan Ali fell to 38th and Sajid Khan to 40th. Naseem Shah fell to 42nd, Abrar Ahmed rose to 58th, and Khurram Shehzad rose to 60th.
Indian Test bowler Jasprit Bumrah leads the standings, followed by South African Kagiso Rabada and Australian Josh Hazlewood.
