Indian cricket squad arived in Dubai to take part in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is the. Arriving from Mumbai at Dubai International Airport, the team attracted a lot of cricket fans to greet them. Cricket fans among the airport employees hurried to catch a sight of their preferred heroes.
The Indian squad went without personal staff unlike past trips since the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has lately banned players bringing their own hairdressers and chefs. The squad will now depend on the facilities provided throughout the competition.
Often seen clearing the path for cricket stars in the past, the lack of personal workers caught the attention of airport patrons. “This time, Indian players will focus more on cricket than their hairstyles!” one admirer said.
Along with wicketkeepers Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul, the Indian team consists in other top players: captain Rohit Sharma, previous captain Virat Kohli, all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja. Among other important players are Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Shreyas Iyer, pacers Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana.
While some players will be in physical training at the hotel, the team is set to have its first practice session at the ICC Academy on Sunday afternoon.
India’s first game is scheduled for February 20 against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, a location selected following the BCCI’s denial to travel to Pakistan for the event.
Especially, this is the first ICC event Pakistan hosts since the World Cup in 1996, which generates great enthusiasm among cricket supporters all around.
