The Gaddafi Stadium improvements are nearing completion before of the February 19–March 9 2025 ICC Men’s Champions Trophy. New LED floodlights appear on all six venue towers. All tower lights are tested separately after installation.
The arena will get new LED floodlights on January 30 as part of its substantial renovations. At least four interesting Champions Trophy 2025 matches will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, including the second semi-final on March 5.
If India fails to qualify for the blockbuster match, the venue may host the eight-team competition final on March 9. The eight-team tournament with 15 matches will be held in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi in Pakistan and Dubai from February 19 to March 9.
