“The ICC Team of the Year recognizes 11 outstanding individuals who have impressed one and all — be it with the bat, the ball, or their all-around exploits in a calendar year,” a statement issued by ICC said Thursday.

The team also includes 2 players from Newzealand, 1 from Srilanka, 1 from Australia, and 1 from England. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is the captain of Men’s Test Team of the Year, announced by The International Cricket Council, on Thursday.
