Australian Cricket Team players Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis did the ‘shoey’ celebration after winning the T20 world cup 2021. In a video shared by ICC on their official Instagram handle, Wade is seen removing his right shoe and pouring a drink in it. He chugged the drink from the shoe and Marcus Stoinis also joined in the celebration by doing the same!

This Shoey celebration has become a sort of tradition for the current McLaren driver. Even the famous Lewis Hamilton has given it try. But by the look on Stoinis’ face, he didn’t seem to enjoy the taste much. He is also heard saying “it’s a little shoddy”.
Australia has proven itself a great cricketing nation. The whole of Australia had a lot to celebrate as their cricket team performed a dominant display to outwit their kiwis aka New Zealand in the T20 World Cup finals in Dubai.
