Multan Sultans’ former England cricketer Dawid Malan has joined the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 player draft. Malan started his PSL career with Peshawar Zalmi, playing three seasons before joining Islamabad United.
Multan Sultans finished runners-up in PSL 2024 last year. The 37-year-old has played 25 matches and scored 631 runs at 28.68 and 122.28, including five half-centuries, making him a crucial league figure.
Malan is the seventh foreign player to sign for the 10th season of the flagship tournament, joining Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, England’s Tom Curran, David Willey, and Jason Roy, Australia’s Usman Khawaja, and Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rehman. Gwadar will host the first Balochistan player draft on January 11, 2025.
Two-time winners Lahore Qalandars pick first in the platinum category’s first round, followed by archrivals Karachi Kings. Quetta Gladiators, 2019 champions, will pick third and Peshawar Zalmi fourth. Sultans, last season’s runners-up, and United, the champions, will pick fifth and sixth.
