On the fourth day of the Chittagong Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Pakistani openers performed brilliantly and scored 109 runs without any loss. The national team needs 93 more runs to win the Test match.

In the cricket match being played at Zahoor Ahmed Chaudhry Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh managed to score 330 runs in the first innings of the Test match. In response, Pakistan scored only 286 runs in their first innings. Bengal Tigers were all out for 157 in the second innings. While Pakistan got a target of 202 runs to win the Test match.

In pursuit of the target, national team openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafiq batted responsibly. Both playing innings of 56 and 53, respectively, put Pakistan in a strong position in the match. No bowler from Bangladesh was able to take a wicket in the second innings. Earlier, Shadman Islam (1), Saif Hassan (18), Mushfiqur Rahim (16), Lytton Das (59), Mehdi Hassan (11), and Noorul Hassan (15) stood out for Bangladesh in the second innings. And Abu Jaid returned to the pavilion without scoring a run.
