In the cricket match being played at Zahoor Ahmed Chaudhry Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh managed to score 330 runs in the first innings of the Test match. In response, Pakistan scored only 286 runs in their first innings. Bengal Tigers were all out for 157 in the second innings. While Pakistan got a target of 202 runs to win the Test match.
In pursuit of the target, national team openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafiq batted responsibly. Both playing innings of 56 and 53, respectively, put Pakistan in a strong position in the match. No bowler from Bangladesh was able to take a wicket in the second innings.
