Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has withheld the no-objection certificates (NOCs) for skipper Babar Azam, top pacer Shaheen Afridi, and wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan for playing in Global T20 Canada League.

The sources stated the board has approached the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the tournament’s affiliation and will issue NOCs if the ICC responds. The development follows several players’ requests to play in the global Cricket League PCB.
Twelve cricketers received NOCs for global competitions a day earlier. The list includes Pakistan’s central contract players and long-term absentees. Several Global T20 Canada League teams have selected seven Pakistani players.
Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen, Asif Ali, Amir, Ahmed, and Nawaz.Vancouver Knights selected Babar, Asif, Amir, and Rizwan, while Toronto Nationals selected Shaheen and Nawaz and Bangla Tigers Mississauga selected Iftikhar.
