Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, and Azam Khan’s scorching knocks helped the Men in Green win by seven wickets at Dublin’s Clontarf Cricket Club by chasing down the 194-run mark in the 17th over.

The 29-year-old star batter won his 45th T20I match on Sunday, making him the most successful captain in the shortest version of the game. Babar did it in 78 captaincy matches. Uganda’s Brian Masaba ranks second with 44 wins in 56 matches.

Afghanistan’s Asghar Afghan and England’s Eoin Morgan are third and fourth most successful T20I captains with 42 wins each. Afghan led his team in 52 matches, while Morgan captained England in 72. The national team also established a milestone after hitting 15 sixes in a T20I, up from 12.

Opener Saim Ayub blasted one six, while Fakhar hit six, Rizwan and Azam each hit four. Only twice did the Green Shirts hit five sixes during the power play. On May 14, the series decider will be played there.
