Babar Azam Cheered Sad Team after PAK vs AUS Semi-Final Match | T20 World Cup 2021

After losing to Australia in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup, national cricket team captain Babar Azam cheered the players in the dressing room. In a video shared by the PCB, Babar Azam lamented the loss of one match to the final. He said that the unit we have formed should not be broken, nor should anyone (other players) raise a finger. We didn’t play well as a team.

Babar Azam Cheered the Team by Encouraging Them

Addressing the heartbroken players after the match, Babar said that everyone is sad about where we did wrong and where we should have done better. We lost one match and missed the final. We will learn from the defeat and we will not repeat these mistakes in the future.
Babar Azam said:

“As a captain, I support all the players, keeping the family atmosphere. everyone, every player has taken responsibility in every match and that is what a team needs. We have effort in our hands but if there is no result then try hard and don’t fall, lift each other. No one has to pull anyone. I have learned a lot from this defeat. The unity of the team must be maintained.”

Batting consultant Matthew Hayden expressed pride in all the players. He said that the team has shown a lot of courage. Please keep your head high as this problem is temporary. We have to work on many things individually and collectively. Bowling consultant Warren Flanders also praised the players’ performance and said that everyone must remember today’s lesson.

In the second semi-final of T20, Australia defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in a thrilling match and made it to the final. The final will be played on Sunday, November 14 in Dubai between New Zealand and Australia.
