Babar Azam and three others enter overseas leagues with PCB approval
Four members of the national squad have been granted No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to participate in cricket leagues.
According to sources, permission would be given to Pakistan T20 captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, former captain Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, and Muhammad Wasim Jr. Following the conclusion of the New Zealand series, all four players would travel to compete in the tournaments.
While Babar, Rizwan, and Wasim will compete in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Afridi has signed a contract with ILT20.
Since they have already participated in two cricket leagues, Fakhar Zaman and Azam Khan are not currently permitted to participate in any more. Cricket players can only participate in two leagues year under the terms of the central contract.
