In the final of the T20 World Cup 2021, Australia won the first title by defeating New Zealand by 8 wickets. In the final being played in Dubai, Australia captain Aaron Finch has decided to field first after winning the toss. The Kiwis scored 172 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

Australian captain Aaron Finch decided to field first after winning the toss. In pursuit of the target, captain Aaron Finch lost the wicket for just 5 runs, but opener David Warner played an aggressive game and played an innings of 53 runs off 38 balls which included 4 fours and 3 sixes. Mitchell Marsh also took the Kiwi bowlers by surprise and played an innings of 70 off 46 balls and took the team close to victory.
His innings included 5 fours and 4 sixes. Trent Bolt took both the wickets for Australia from New Zealand. Earlier, openers Martin Guptill and Daryl Mitchell from the Kiwis started the innings confidently. The Kiwis’ captain Ken Williamson played aggressively and scored 85 off 48 balls, including 10 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.
