Sourav Ganguly, the president of the BCCI, said Thursday that the Asia Cup 2022 will not be held in Sri Lanka. But instead in the United Arab Emirates. He told the media after an Apex Council meeting that the Asia Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates, where it is not expected to rain.
Sri Lanka will not be able to host the Asia Cup because of its constant political and economic instability, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) said on Wednesday. Because of this problem, Sri Lanka Premier League season three has been put off (LPL). The Asia Cup will take place from August 27 to September 11. It will be a T20 tournament.
