Arshad Nadeem, who won a gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 for Pakistan, wants to smash the javelin throw world record. After a two-month vacation, Nadeem plans to advance his sports career. The Paris Olympics javelin record holder plans to compete in 2032 if he stays healthy to win another medal. He explained how his determination and hard work helped him overcome ailments and win the Olympics. Salman Iqbal Butt, Nadeem’s coach, guided and motivated him. Even though he was injured before the Olympics, the Olympian stated his devotion and consistency paid off. The athlete said he’s worked hard since 2012.

Nadeem stressed the need of fitness for javelin throwers owing to the risk of injury, saying that together with technique, fitness is vital for consistency with throws over 90 metres, which has been his success. Nadeem said his goal after winning the Olympic medal is to smash the javelin throw world record. The gold medalist said he will prepare for the World Athletics Championships after a short break to achieve a world record. Nadeem also planned to compete in major events four years before the next Olympics.
